Our sterile surgical suite is equipped with "bells and whistles" usually found only in referral hospitals, ensuring that whether your pet is in for a routine procedure or a complex operation, they are in the safest possible hands.
We don't believe in "bare bones" surgery. Every patient, from a kitten being desexed to an older dog having a tumour removed, receives a premium level of care designed to mitigate risk:
Our team is highly experienced in a wide range of soft tissue procedures. Because we have an in-house Internal Medicine Specialist (Dr Dave Collins), we can perform detailed pre-surgical workups (including ultrasound and biopsies) to plan each surgery with precision.
For pets requiring advanced bone or joint surgery, we offer the best of both worlds. We host a visiting surgical specialist, Dr Eugene Buffet, who performs complex orthopaedic procedures right here in our Seaforth theatre.
This includes the TPLO (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy), the gold-standard surgical repair for cranial cruciate ligament ruptures in dogs. By having a specialist visit us, your pet gets world-class surgical expertise without the need to travel to a distant referral centre.
Once the surgery is complete, the care doesn't stop. Your pet recovers in our dedicated, closely monitored recovery cages.
If your pet requires an operation, we will sit down with you to discuss the procedure, the recovery process, and the costs involved. We are committed to transparency and working with you to achieve the best outcome for your pet.
